How to Get Off the Hamster Wheel

Sales Management Training by Steve Clark

I am not a great believer in working more hours. I AM a believer in working less hours and making more. But in order to do that, you have got to be doing the right things.

Sales Management Training

I do a lot of one-on-one sales management training and coaching with high income private clients. So, as I was preparing to write this article, I went back and looked at some sales management training coaching calls I’ve had for the last 90 days.

It is instructive to know that every one of these sales management training clients are all doing pretty well. These are folks who are successful; they’re all earning six figure plus. A number of them are multiple six figure income earners.

As I reviewed these sales management training calls, there was a common theme of frustration. I heard things like, “I’m frustrated because I don’t seem to be making much progress. Now I’m working really hard, but I’m not making a lot of progress.” Another coaching client said, “I just feel overwhelmed all the time.” Another client said, “Things seem to be out of control. My life is just all over the place.” Another one said, “I’m constantly being interrupted and distracted and can never get anything done.” Another said, “Quite frankly, my life is a mess.” Another said to me, “My blood pressure is so high that I’ve had to start taking blood pressure medication.” And shockingly another client said to me, “After 31 years of doing this, I’m wondering if this shit is worth it anymore.”  Now those are real comments from real sales management training clients that are successful.

Sales Management Training Troubles

I share this with you to let you know that if you’re thinking any of those kinds of thoughts; if you’ve have ever muttered those things to Sales Management Training by Steve Clarkyourself; if you feel frustrated, overwhelmed, feel like you’re not making progress, and you’re beating your head against the wall, you’re not alone. Truth is most people feel that way whether they express it verbally or not.

The question that begs an answer is, “why are so many people so frazzled and fried and out of control”?

I’m sure you have your own opinion on that matter. But here’s what I have come to realize when I take a deep dive into these comments.

The reason that they are so frazzled and so fried and so out of control is really because of two things: the first one is that these folks lack crystal clear clarity about what they want their life to look like. And they have an inability or an unwillingness to take total control of their daily behavior and subsequently their life.
