Sales Advice: Don’t Chase Buyers

How much time did you waste following up with people who weren’t going anywhere, to begin with? You want to be very careful not to chase.

Chasing does not only degrade you mentally, erodes your self-confidence, and makes you feel like a cheap streetwalker. It also takes away any leverage you have with the prospect.

Think about this as a relationship when a male chases a female, what happens to the female’s level of interest with the male? Does it go up or go down? We’re in the same game. It’s the same deal when you chase your prospects. Their level of interest goes down. But when you play a little bit hard to get, their level of interest goes up.
